BASIC College Ministry
BASIC stands for Brothers and Sisters in Christ. In Buffalo we’ve been on the UB campus since 1986. Who are we? We’re college students and young adults who value our relationship with Jesus Christ more than anything.
BASIC is a non-denominational ministry and our passion is pretty simple ~ we want to love God with everything in us and we want to ignite our generation to know their God.
What We Do…
~ Monday Nights ~
Every Monday night during Fall and Spring Semesters, BASIC meets at the UB North Campus in the Student Union, Room 210 at 7pm. The night is packed with all the essentials – an amazing time of worship, a relevant message, times of prayer and fellowship and of course, free cups-of-joe or hot choco and food!
~ BASIC Life Groups ~
At BASIC, we want to be and make disciples. Every Monday, there is a relevant message shared… and we want to be able to really grow by applying what we learned in our lives. BASIC Life Groups are designed just to discuss and pray for each other about Monday’s message – to go a little deeper, you might say. They are fun, small and they meet right on Monday night directly after the message!
~ Rides to Church ~
BASIC is sponsored by an awesome church called Love Joy Church. Many students from BASIC attend Love Joy or other great churches in the area. BASIC will pick you up for church on Sunday mornings – if you are interested, email Thomas Ryan: twryan@buffalo.edu
