Short Bio:
Dr. Ronald V. Burgio is the President of Elim Fellowship, an association of nine hundred pastors, ministers, missionaries, and two hundred affiliated churches. He serves as senior pastor of Love Joy Gospel Church in Lancaster, New York since 1984. An alumnus of Elim Bible Institute and a graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College he is ordained through Elim Fellowship and has a Doctorate of Ministry from the School of Bible Theology. Along with other key pastors in the city of Buffalo, he gives visionary leadership to the region. He is the author of Living in the Spirit of Revival. He often ministers to missionaries, pastors, leaders and churches in various cities in the U.S. and Canada, as well as in Europe, Asia, Central America, Africa and the Middle East.

Dr. Ronald V. Burgio is the President of Elim Fellowship, an association of nine hundred pastors, ministers, missionaries, and one hundred affiliated churches. He is on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Evangelicals. The association represents more than 45,000 local churches from over 40 different denominations and serves a constituency of millions. He is an alumnus of Elim Bible Institute and a graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College. He is ordained through Elim Fellowship and has a Doctorate of Ministry from the School of Bible Theology. He has been in full time ministry since 1978 and has been the senior pastor of Love Joy Gospel Church in Lancaster, New York since 1984.
As a pastor, he believes that Love Joy Gospel Church is all about “Advancing the Kingdom of God in our Region by Changing lives to follow Christ.” His mission is to raise up leaders and workers to do the work of the ministry. Dr. Burgio leads the church with the help of a council of elders. He and his pastoral staff supervise a team of lay leaders who direct the ministries of the church. Under Dr. Burgio’s leadership the church has grown from a weekly attendance of 25 to over 650.
His apostolic vision for the Western New York region is to “work together to win Buffalo for Christ.” This vision can be fulfilled only by working together with other churches and leaders. Along with other key pastors in the city of Buffalo, he gives visionary leadership to the region.
Dr. Burgio believes that the local church needs to be missions oriented. He and his congregation support missionary families and organizations around the world, both in prayer and in finances, and he often travels to minister to missionaries, pastors, leaders and churches. Besides ministering in various cities in the United States and Canada, he has traveled to eleven countries in Asia, Central America, Africa and the Middle East. He is the author of Living in the Spirit of Revival.
