Joel 2: 23-25 (NASB)

  23    So rejoice, O sons of Zion,
         And be glad in the LORD your God;
         For He has given you the early rain for your vindication
         And He has poured down for you the rain,
         The early and latter rain as before.

  24    The threshing floors will be full of grain,
         And the vats will overflow with the new wine and oil.

  25    "Then I will make up to you for the years
         That the swarming locust has eaten,

For the Lord your God would say to you: I have brought forth my vision for this house in the past and I have completed my work.  I have new vision for this house.  I have new work to be done.  This is a year that my Spirit is going to move in a great way through the lives of my people and the lives of my children.  I have plans that will guide this house into a new season where my love and compassion will be poured out in a new way.  I have never changed my love for you.  My love is always the same.  I am going to pour out my love in a new way though, so you will be able to pour out into the lives of others in a new way.  This body is going to start reaching out in different avenues than before.  I have placed my hand upon the headship and leadership of this house. 

For the Lord would say: You are to follow my guiding as I lead you into this new season.  Hurts of the past will be broken off and there will come a restoration of what has been taken from you.  Just as I promised to restore what the locust had taken from Israel, I am going to restore to this house what the locust have eaten.  There is going to be an outpouring of my Spirit and my love.  Prepare your hearts to be filled to overflowing and you will pour out into the community in the power of my love.  Come thirsty and hungry for my righteousness, for I will fill you with great gifts of love and compassion for the people in this body as well as the people that are in hurt and need in your communities.  I have made and developed you and have specially and strategically place you in your sphere of influence to usher in this new season of my love for my people.  Come thirsty and hungry for I am here to fill your hearts with my great love and compassion says the Lord of Hosts.

Today the Lord would say I am raising up a church that will walk the way I have walked. I am calling my church walk in grace and mercy to speak forth truth to set the captives free, To love the unlovable and those that the world would reject to help them find their acceptance in me. Yes I am calling you and I have strategically placed within this body those whose giftings will compliment the move of my spirit. There has been a stirring of those giftings within your hearts and spirit. You have begun to feel great compassion and love to those that are lost.

I have began to place people in your path that have lost hope, who have nowhere to turn, who are broken and wounded , who have given up. You my church have experienced my grace and mercy. You have felt the touch of my hand on your lives. You have experienced my great love for you. Now it is time to rise up and show that grace and mercy to others. YOU will not win them to me unless you love them as I have loved them. You will not win them to me unless you show them my compassion, my love. You will not win them by being politically correct but by standing for my righteousness and being righteously correct and speaking for the truth IN LOVE.

It is time my church to lay down your life for those who feel they have nothing. Greater love hath no man than this that he lay down his life for a friend. Lift up you heads oh ye gates lift up you everlasting doors and the king of glory will come in. Who is this king of Glory the Lord strong and mighty The Lord mighty in battle. The Lord of Hosts.  He is the KING of Glory. It is time my church to show them who the King of Glory is. Show them who I am by showing my love, my grace, my mercy and speaking forth my truth. Not only will the King of Glory enter in so will the lost, the hurting and you will lead them to me.
