At Love Joy, we believe that life is a team sport – best done together! So we want to encourage you to check out one of our Connect Groups. Sign-ups begin Sunday, May 5 and groups start the first week of June 2013. We will have groups located conveniently throughout the Western New York area.

CONNECT GROUPS are Love Joy’s groups of 15 or so people who get together each week in convenient Western New York locations to make new friends and have fun together. There is no better place to meet people like yourself, grow in your faith and learn more about the Bible! Plus, Connect Groups only meet for 1 1/2 hour a week for 12 weeks, so they are a short-term commitment with lasting impact! With over 20 groups to choose from…there is sure to be a group that is right for you.

Sign ups for our Summer 2013 Connect Groups begin the first week in May! You will be able to sign up for the group of your choice in one of two ways:

(1) Sign-up at any Love Joy Sunday service beginning on Sunday, May 5
(2) Sign-up on-line right here beginning in May!

So, be sure to keep your eyes open for opportunities to get plugged in!

Small groups play a vital role in connecting people to develop friendships and become equipped for life and ministry. We will offer three types of groups:

(1) Connect Groups that meet in homes
(2) Requirement Courses that meet at church (i.e: Discovering Church Life)
(3) Freedom Ministry Connect Groups that meet at church

“Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the Good News that Jesus is the Christ” (Acts5:42).

Semester Based

Our groups run every week for 3 months and then take a month off.

Spring Semester: February to April
Summer Semester: June to August
Fall Semester: September to December

Starting a Group

We are always open to start new groups for our next semester. If you would like to start a group, contact Denis and Nancy Kitchen.  They will be glad to facilitate you. Training is provided. Leaders must be members and have taken the following courses: “Doorway” and “Discovering Church Life”
